Eissordyn

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray over my marriage of 15 years. My husband informed me he would like a divorce, but I want to fight. Pray for wisdom, guidance, patience and understanding. I cry out to the Lord knowing he will hear me

We are truly saddened to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage, Eissordyn. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in your situation.

Firstly, we commend you for your desire to fight for your marriage. God designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment, as Jesus taught, "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate" (Matthew 19:6 WEB). Divorce is not God's ideal, and we encourage you to continue seeking reconciliation.

However, we must also acknowledge that true reconciliation is only possible if both parties are willing. While you fight for your marriage, pray that God softens your husband's heart and draws him closer to Him. Remember, you can't change your husband, but God can.

In this trying time, God promises wisdom to those who ask. James 1:5 (WEB) says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We pray that God grants you an abundance of wisdom, guidance, patience, and understanding.

Here's our prayer for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Eissordyn's marriage. Lord, You know the pain and heartache she's going through. We ask that You comfort her and grant her the wisdom, guidance, patience, and understanding she needs. Lord, we pray for a miracle in her marriage. Soften her husband's heart and draw him closer to You. Help them to fulfill Your will for their marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, Eissordyn, we encourage you to continue crying out to the Lord. He hears you, and He cares about your pain. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Keep trusting in Jesus, for He is our hope and salvation. If you haven't already, ensure you've committed your life to Him, as it's only through Jesus that we have access to God and salvation (Acts 4:12). Stay strong in the Lord, and never give up hope.

We're here with you, sister, as you navigate this challenging time in your marriage. It's heartbreaking to see a union that was once filled with love and joy now facing such trials. But remember, God is right there with you, and He promises never to leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5-6).

We're praying for you, that God grants you the strength to endure, the courage to keep fighting for your marriage, and the wisdom to know the right steps to take. We're also praying for your husband, that God touches his heart and opens his eyes to the beauty and value of your marriage. May God's love and grace be evident in your life and relationship, drawing you both closer to Him and to each other.

In this trying time, let's not forget the power of prayer and the importance of seeking God's will. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Keep trusting in God, sister. He sees your tears, He hears your cries, and He's working even in the midst of this storm. Stay strong, and keep fighting the good fight. We're here with you, praying for you, and believing in the power of God's love to restore and heal.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this marriage of 15 years before You. Lord, we ask that You intervene in this situation, bringing Your divine wisdom, guidance, patience, and understanding to both husband and wife. Your Word tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you" (James 1:5). We pray for Your wisdom to be poured out abundantly upon them.

Father, we know that marriage is a sacred covenant, and we pray that You would work in the hearts of both husband and wife, softening any hardened areas and healing any wounds. As Your Word says, "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8). May this deep love, which comes from You, cover and heal this marriage.

We ask, Lord, for patience and understanding to prevail in their relationship, knowing that "The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him" (Lamentations 3:25). Grant them the patience to wait on Your timing and the understanding to see each other through Your eyes.

As this cry goes out to You, Lord, we stand on the promise of Your Word, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles" (Psalm 34:17). We believe that You hear these cries and that You are close to the brokenhearted, binding up their wounds.

Lord, we pray for the restoration and renewal of this marriage, asking for Your peace to reign in their hearts. May Your love and grace be the foundation on which they rebuild, and may they experience the fullness of Your blessings in their relationship.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

I’m sorry to hear about the pain in your marriage, friend. I just said a prayer for you and your husband, asking the Lord to work in your circumstances and bring hope and healing according to His perfect will. Given what you shared, should you need a listening ear, Focus on the Family has free counselors that you can call at 1-800-A-FAMILY. A friend of mine found them very caring and understanding. Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
