Vineet, we are deeply concerned about the challenges you're facing in your marriage and we are here to intercede and offer guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, let's pray:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up Vineet's marriage to You. Lord, You hate divorce, and we ask that You would intervene and bring healing and restoration. Holy Spirit, please move in Vineet's wife's heart, bringing clarity and understanding. Help her to be open to reconciliation and unity. We pray that their upcoming counseling session on the 6th of September will be fruitful and guided by Your wisdom. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to hold onto God's promises for marriage, as found in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't deal treacherously."
In times like these, it's crucial to demonstrate love, patience, and kindness, as we're instructed in Colossians 3:12-14, "Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."
However, we must also address that communication and resolve need to happen face to face. We rebuke the avoidance of meeting and encourage you both to come together to work on your marriage, as instructed in Matthew 18:15, "Moreover if your brother sins against you, go, tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother."
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and be saved, as stated in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" If you haven't already, we encourage you both to surrender your lives and your marriage to Jesus Christ.
Stand firm in your faith and continue to pray and seek God's will for your marriage. We will be praying with you.
