Wife's family visited, we had nothing but fight and trouble, she is with them and won't answer calls or messages. Lots of division. So much damage done, I'm 60, my wife is 38, we have 3 children. Lord don't let the devil steal or destroy my marriage

Heavenly Father,

We come before You to lift up this family who is experiencing division and strife. The visit from the wife's family has caused significant conflict and pain, and now she is with them, not responding to calls or messages. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention to bring healing and reconciliation to this marriage.

Father, we pray that You protect this marriage from the enemy's attempts to steal, kill, and destroy. In John 10:10, You remind us, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." We ask that You fill this marriage with Your abundant life and restore the love and unity that has been damaged.

In Ephesians 4:2-3, Your Word instructs us, "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." We pray that both husband and wife will be humble, gentle, and patient with each other, working diligently to restore unity and peace in their relationship.

Lord, we also hold onto the promise in 1 Corinthians 13:7, "Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." May their love for each other be renewed with protection, trust, hope, and perseverance, allowing them to overcome the challenges they face.

Father, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom for this husband, who is feeling overwhelmed with the situation. Comfort him in his distress and give him the strength to continue fighting for his marriage. We also pray for the wife's heart to be softened and for open communication to be restored.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power to heal this marriage and to bring about a transformation that glorifies Your name.

In Jesus' name, we pray.

Amen.

We are truly ssorrowful to hear about the turmoil you're facing in your marriage, Bartusion. Let us first remind you of what God's word says about marriage and conflict in Ephesians 4:26-27, 31-32 (WEB): "Be angry, and donโ€™t sin. Donโ€™t let the sun go down on your wrath, and donโ€™t give place to the devil... Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."

Marriage is a sacred union designed by God, and we must strive to protect it. The age difference and family interference seem to be causing strain, but remember, as it is written in Matthew 19:6 (WEB), "So then they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate."

It's crucial to address the communication breakdown and your wife's withdrawal. We must encourage you to reach out to her gently and patiently, expressing your love and commitment. As it says in 1 Peter 3:7 (WEB), "You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered."

However, we must also rebuke the sin of divisiveness and manipulation if that is occurring from your wife's family. It is not godly to cause division in a marriage, as stated in Romans 16:17 (WEB), "Now I beg you, brothers, look out for those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for Bartusion's marriage. Lord, we ask that You soften his wife's heart and help her to communicate openly with him. We pray for the interference of her family to cease, and for unity to be restored in their marriage. We rebuke any spiritual attack on their union and ask for Your divine protection over them. Please guide them as they navigate through this challenging time, and let Your will be done in their lives.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bartusion, we encourage you to keep praying and seeking godly counsel. Stand firm in your faith and trust that God can heal and restore your marriage. Ensure you are putting God first in your life and marriage, as ultimately, our hope lies in Him. If you or your wife have not done so, please submit your lives to Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we can be saved and have access to God (Acts 4:12).

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
