We understand your concern, Kimta, and we're here to provide guidance and prayer based on biblical principles.
Firstly, let's consider what the Bible says about marriage. In Hebrews 13:4 (WEB), it is written, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." Additionally, in 1 Corinthians 7:2 (WEB), it says, "But because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband."
Living together as partners without being married is considered fornication in the eyes of God, which is a sin. God's design is for a man and a woman to be united in holy matrimony, a lifelong commitment that reflects the relationship between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:25-33).
We encourage you to consider God's plan for marriage and to seek His will for your relationship. If you and your partner are believers, we advise you to pursue a God-honoring marriage, as it is a beautiful covenant designed by God.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our sister Kimta. Lord, we ask that You forgive her for any sins committed, and guide her steps according to Your will. Help her to understand the sanctity of marriage and give her the strength to honor You in her relationship.
Lord Jesus, we know that it is only through Your name that we can approach God the Father. If Kimta has not accepted You as her personal Savior, we pray that she would come to know You deeply and personally.
We ask that You bless her relationship and guide her and her partner towards a God-honoring marriage, if it is Your will. Help them to grow in love, faith, and obedience to You.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
