We join with you in lifting up your brother's marriage in prayer, seeking God's strength and blessing upon their union. Let us remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment, as reflected in Mark 10:9, "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
In praying for their marriage, we ask that God would fill their hearts with love, understanding, and patience. May they be steadfast in their commitment to one another, as stated in 1 Corinthians 13:7, "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things."
We also pray that they would grow together in faith and unity, with Christ at the center of their marriage. As it is written in Ecclesiastes 4:12, "And if a man prevails against the one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken." May their marriage be a strong and unbreakable cord, woven together with God's love and grace.
If there are any areas in their marriage that do not align with biblical principles, we pray that God would reveal these to them and grant them the wisdom and strength to make the necessary changes. We ask that they would be a testimony of God's love and faithfulness, reflecting the sanctity of marriage as designed by God.
Finally, we pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." May your brother and his wife draw near to God, seeking His will for their marriage and their lives. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God cares deeply for your brother's marriage and that He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. Trust in His goodness and sovereignty, even in the challenges that may come. "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16).
