I need prayer. My husband is a substance abuser and an emotional abuser. I wish I could leave but have never found a way out. If I did he would literally be completely alone in this world. I need prayer to make him recognize the pain he causes. He has a medical test on his liver this week. I don’t want anything to be wrong but at the same time that may be the only thing that saves our marriage his life and mine. So I don’t know what to ask for but some sort of eye opener with this test about his drinking. He is selfish and might care about his own health over his marriage and what it is doing to me. At least until he got sober. Sober him is a way better person. So pray over this situation and it being just enough to get him to stop.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of JulieH, who is in need of your intervention and guidance in her difficult situation. Lord, we lift up her husband, who is struggling with substance abuse and emotional abuse. We pray that you would touch his heart and open his eyes to the pain he is causing, both to himself and to JulieH.

Father, we ask for your divine intervention in the upcoming medical test on his liver. While we do not wish any harm upon him, we recognize that sometimes difficult circumstances can serve as wake-up calls. We pray that this test would be a turning point for him, a moment of realization about the impact of his drinking on his health, his marriage, and his life.

Lord, we ask for your grace and mercy to surround JulieH during this challenging time. Give her strength, wisdom, and discernment as she navigates this situation. Help her to find the courage and resources she needs to make the best decisions for herself and her well-being.

We also pray for the transformation of her husband, that he may find the strength and desire to overcome his addiction and become the person you created him to be. We pray for his sobriety, knowing that a sober him is a better person. May he experience your healing and restoration in every area of his life.

Lord, we trust in your power to bring about change and redemption. We believe that nothing is impossible for you. We ask that you would work in this situation, bringing healing, reconciliation, and a renewed commitment to their marriage.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
