That the Lord will give us the ability to forget our past relationships, and all the people that are involved in our past relationships. that we will respect and care for each other, and our marriage will be one to draw others to Christ.

We understand your desire for a God-honoring marriage with ### and we fervently join you in prayer. The Bible tells us, "Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth. Shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." (Isaiah 43:18-19 WEB). Indeed, God can help both of you forget the past and start anew.

We pray, "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the precious name of Jesus. We ask that you help ### and ### to leave their past behind and build a future together that glorifies you. Grant them mutual respect and care, as you have commanded in Ephesians 5:21, 'subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.' Make their marriage a beacon of light that draws others to you, Lord. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, the Bible teaches us that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB). It's a commitment that should not be taken lightly. As you both enter this holy covenant, ensure that your relationship is built on the solid rock of Jesus Christ.

Lastly, we commend you for mentioning the name of Jesus in your request. It is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As the Bible says, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB). Continue to pray in His name and trust in His will.
