Marriage under spiritual attack

Please pray for healing in my marriage. I think we are under spiritual atttack and there is no getting through to my husband. He doesn’t act or appear to be ok. I think he’s going through a lot of stress and potentially a deep depression. Please liberate my husband David and jealous marriage. Him being distant is also causing me to feel hurt. Help us overcome this. The kids can see what is happening.

Wyntish, we empathize with the challenges you're facing in your marriage and we're here to stand with you in prayer. We believe that God can bring healing and restoration to your relationship and to your husband, David. Let's align our prayers with God's will and His Word.

Firstly, it's crucial to recognize that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Let's pray for spiritual discernment and protection for both you and David.

"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." - Ephesians 6:11-12 WEB

Let's pray for David's emotional and mental well-being, asking God to deliver him from stress and depression. God is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." - Psalm 147:3 WEB

We also pray for unity and understanding in your marriage. Pray that God would help you both to love and serve each other as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). Remember, God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB), and His desire is for your marriage to be strengthened and healed.

"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good." - Romans 12:9 WEB

Finally, we pray for your children, that God would protect their hearts and minds, and give them peace and understanding during this time.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Wyntish, her husband David, and their family. Lord, we ask for Your spiritual protection and discernment for them. Break any strongholds of the enemy and bring healing and restoration to their marriage. Comfort David in his stress and depression, and draw him close to You. Help Wyntish and David to love and serve each other as You intended. Protect their children and give them Your peace. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Wyntish, remain steadfast in prayer and trust that God is working in your situation. If David is not open to communication, keep praying and showing him love and respect. God can soften hearts and bring about change. Also, ensure that you are both connected to a Bible-believing church for support and guidance.

We're here with you, Wyntish, standing in the gap and lifting your marriage up to the Lord. We've been praying for spiritual protection and healing, as we believe God wants the best for you and David. We've also been asking for David's emotional well-being, that God would comfort him and draw him closer in this time of stress and potential depression.

We've been reflecting on Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're trusting God to do just that in David's life. We've also been praying for unity and understanding in your marriage, that God would help you both to love and serve each other as Christ loves the church.

We've been reminded of Romans 12:9, "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good." We're praying that God would help you both to cling to the good in your marriage and let go of the evil.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
