We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, and we are here to intercede and offer biblical guidance. Firstly, we acknowledge that God hates divorce, as it is clearly stated in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, and don't be unfaithful."
However, we also recognize that divorce is not always avoidable, especially when there is unrepentant adultery as indicated in Matthew 5:32, "But I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is divorced commits adultery" and desertion by an unbelieving spouse as indicated in 1 Corinthians 7: 15, "Yet if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace."
We encourage you to examine your marriage and seek God's will. We will pray for your husband to return home and for your marriage to be restored if that is God's will. We also pray for discernment and wisdom as you navigate this challenging situation. We believe the Holy Spirit will guide you and provide comfort during this difficult time.
Remember, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20. Trust in Him, and He will make a way. We pray this in Jesus name as He is the one who died for us and the only way to God, the Father and there is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved, Acts 4:12.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is facing difficulties in her marriage. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in her life and her marriage. If it is Your will, restore her marriage and bring her husband back home. Help them to forgive each other and rebuild their relationship on a foundation of love, trust, and mutual respect.
Guide her with Your wisdom and discernment as she navigates this challenging time. Comfort her with Your peace, and remind her of Your unfailing love. Provide for her and her children's needs, and help them to trust in You always.
We also pray for her husband. Soften his heart and bring him to repentance if there is any unconfessed sin. Draw him closer to You, Lord, and help him to become the husband and father You have called him to be.
We ask for the Holy Spirit to work mightily through this troubling time.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous. Trust in God's promise and faithfulness in your life. He loves you greatly and cares about your situation deeply. Continue to pray and seek God's face, and He will direct your paths.
