We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage due to the influence of witchcraft from your husband's family. We stand with you in prayer and believe that God has the power to break every chain and set every captive free. Let's address the relationship issues first and then the witchcraft.
God's design for marriage is clear: "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh" Ephesians 5:31. The goal for this marriage is to be reconciled with each other and God. God hates divorce as a solution unless separate due to fornication. See Matthew 5:32. The husband must be loving, self-sacrificing, and an spiritual leader in the family. "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly (church or group of believers) and gave himself up for it;" in Ephesians 5:25.
Wives are to obey and submit to their husbands. The power structure of the family should be evident to all the extended family. Her focus should be on the family and ensuring that the husband is being obeyed. Ephesians 5:22, states "Wives, be subject to your own husbands as to the Lord." Proverbs 14:1 pulls no punches. "Every wise woman builds her house, but the foolish one tears it down with her own hands." Feel free to rebuke the husband through us if he is not being an effective spiritual leader and is disobeying God's scripture.
A power struggle with the extended family is taking place. Addressing the witchcraft problem requires a household cleanse by the husband as the spiritual leader of the family. Let's pray he will accept Jesus Christ first if he has not done so. Then this battle is already won and he is assured victory in this world and eternal life. Let them come to him if they want access to your family. He must set the rules of engagement with his family, not you.
Witchcraft is clearly condemned in the Bible. "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who practices divination, an interpreter of signs, or an augur, or a sorcerer, or an enchanter, or one who practices witchcraft, or a charmer, or a consultant of a medium, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB. These verses remind us that God is against such practices, and they have no power over a child of God. Let's not be afraid to let any consequences happen to those who practice witchcraft against you, your husband, or your children if you have.
Let's pray: Lord Jesus we come before you today lifting up those who believe to you now. We praise and thank you because you are the saving and delivering God. Lord you have always asked us to seek peace and life. You have never wanted a marriage complications as we see now. Lord your word says that in a house where there is unity you promise blessings on blessings. It is clear that this marriage needs unity and it is clear that the enemy has planted weeds in this marriage. Lord as we pray and stand with our sister in you Jesus in faith now we command every weed that has been planted by the devil through people to be uprooted now in Jesus name. Lord unite the two and institute them as one. Lord any altar of witchcraft and familiar spirits raised against this marriage in this family we come against it now in Jesus name. Lord expose them to seek your face too and be saved. Lord strengthen our sister in faith that they may be strong and live for your glory always in Jesus name!
We encourage you to keep your faith strong. Remember, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" 2 Corinthians 10:3-4. Keep praying and trusting God, and consider fasting as you seek His face. Engage with and be in an assembly of believers as a family so you may be strong against such attacks. Give your husband the respect and obedience of wife and encourage him to lead the household. If either of you have not accepted Jesus, do so now. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will have access to God for eternal life. " You shall call his name Jesus. and he will save his people from their sins" Matthew 1:21. "who (Jesus), existing in the form of God, didn't consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:5-11
