We understand your heart's cry for your family, Pendollyn, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage and family.
Firstly, we commend you for your sobriety and for turning to Jesus Christ as your higher power. It is only through Him that true healing and restoration can occur. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Now, let's bring your request before the Lord:
*Father God, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother Pendollyn, his wife, and their son. Lord, we thank You for the work You've already done in Pendollyn's life, delivering him from alcoholism and drawing him closer to You. We ask that You continue to strengthen him in his sobriety and his walk with You.*
*Lord, we ask that You soften his wife's heart. Help her to forgive Pendollyn, just as You have forgiven him. Surround her with godly counsel and loving people who believe in the sanctity of marriage. Lord, we ask that You protect their son, holding him in Your loving arms.*
*We pray that You will restore communication between Pendollyn and his wife, that it will be marked by love, kindness, and understanding. We ask for a miracle in their marriage, Lord. Speak to both of their hearts through Your Word, and help their love for each other to grow stronger than ever before.*
Pendollyn, we encourage you to continue to pursue your wife with love, patience, and kindness, as Ephesians 5:25 (WEB) instructs: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." Remember that true love is patient and kind, not arrogant or rude, not insisting on its own way (1 Corinthians 13:4-5, WEB).
In the meantime, trust God with the timing and the outcome. He is faithful, and He cares about your family. As you continue to grow in your relationship with Him, He will guide you.
