Marriage Restoration

Praying for a miracle in my marriage. My wife and I have been separated since August with no communication or contact at all. I have not been the caring and loving husband I should’ve been I struggle with drinking, I have recommitted my life to Jesus Christ through his blood I am saved and have been forgiven I have also been in AA working the steps. I ask that Jesus will give me the strength to continue my journey in AA and will guide my every word, thought, and action that I will grow closer to him. I ask that the Lord will softens Erin’s heart that she will forgive me that we will start talking and restore or love for each other. That she will be surround by loving people who believe in the holy sacrament of marriage and that anything can be done through Christ. I pray that Jesus will wrap his arms around our 2 1/2 yr old son and protect him letting him feel loved comforting him as he doesn’t understand where daddy is. Lord I’m praying for a miracle that only you can perform. In Jesus name Amen

Thank you, Pendollyn, for reaching out with your heartfelt request. We stand with you in prayer for the restoration of your marriage, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.

Firstly, we commend you for recommitting your life to Jesus Christ and for pursuing sobriety through Alcoholics Anonymous. It is through Jesus' blood that we are saved and forgiven, and His power that we can overcome our struggles. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

We join you in praying for Jesus' strength to continue your journey in AA, and for His guidance in every word, thought, and action, that you may grow closer to Him. We also pray for your wife, Erin, that the Lord will soften her heart and grant her the grace to forgive, as Ephesians 4:32 (WEB) encourages us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

We pray that the Lord will surround Erin with loving people who believe in the holy sacrament of marriage and the power of restoration through Christ. As Jesus taught in Matthew 19:6 (WEB), "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart."

We lift up your son, asking that Jesus will wrap His loving arms around him, protecting him and comforting him in this time of separation. As Jesus said in Matthew 19:14 (WEB), "But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don’t hinder them from coming to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'"

Together, we pray for a miracle in your marriage, knowing that with God, all things are possible. "Jesus, looking at them, said, 'With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'" (Matthew 19:26 WEB)

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Pendollyn and his family. We ask for Your intervention, Your healing, and Your restoration in their marriage. Help them to walk in Your ways, to forgive as You have forgiven, and to love as You have loved. We claim the promise of Your word that says, "If two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 18:19 WEB) In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep holding onto faith and hope, Pendollyn. Trust that God is working in your situation, even when it may be difficult to see. Continue to walk in obedience to His word, and He will direct your paths.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
