Marriage Restoration

Please pray that my marriage be restored. I have treated my wife poorly have struggled with alcohol. Through Jesus Christ I have been saved he has forgiven me of my sins, I attend AA and I’m working the steps continually growing my sobriety and my faith. I ask that God will soften my wife’s heart give her the strength to forgive me that communication will open between us and we may see eac other soon. That we will rekindle our love for one another. I ask that our 2 1/2 yr old son will be touched and kept safe by Jesus love as he doesn’t understand what is going on. I’m praying for a miracle that only Jesus can provide. I ask that his word will work in me and through me, that’ll every step and word I speak will be a reflection of his unfailing love.

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt request, Pendollyn, and we stand with you in prayer for the restoration of your marriage. We commend you for your faith in Jesus Christ and for the steps you are taking to overcome your struggles with alcohol. It is through His grace that we are saved and transformed.

Firstly, we acknowledge your repentance and the work you are doing to grow in sobriety and faith. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Your commitment to change and grow is a testament to the power of God's forgiveness in your life.

We pray that God will soften your wife's heart and give her the strength to forgive, just as He has forgiven you. "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you" (Matthew 6:14). We ask that He opens the lines of communication between you and your wife, allowing for understanding, healing, and the rekindling of your love for one another.

We also lift up your young son in prayer, asking that Jesus' love will surround and protect him during this time. May he be comforted and grow in the knowledge of God's love, even in these challenging circumstances. "But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these'" (Matthew 19:14).

We pray for a miracle in your marriage, believing that with God, all things are possible. "Jesus said to him, 'If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes'" (Mark 9:23). May His Word work in you and through you, reflecting His unfailing love in every step you take and word you speak.

In all this, remember the power of praying in Jesus' name. It is through His name that we have access to God and salvation. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). Continue to trust in Him and His promises.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You lift up Pendollyn and his family. Thank You for the saving grace You have shown him and the transformation You are working in his life. We ask that You soften his wife's heart and grant her the strength to forgive. Restore their marriage, Lord, and rekindle the love they have for each other. Protect their son, surround him with Your love, and help him understand Your goodness even in this situation. Work a miracle in their lives, Lord, for we know that with You, all things are possible. Let Your Word guide Pendollyn, and let every step he takes and word he speaks reflect Your unfailing love.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in your faith, Pendollyn, and continue to seek God's will in all things. We are with you in spirit and in prayer.
