Marriage Restoration

Please pray for my family that my wife and I may restore our marriage. I ask that ### will soften her heart, forgive me for not being the husband I was designed to be, forgive me for my controlling behavior, for my drinking that the Holy Spirit will touch her that she will be good to our son, I thank God for sending his son to sacrifice his life that through the blood of Jesus Christ I have been saved and forgiven for my sins, I ask that I’ll be filled by the Holy Spirit and guide my steps and my mouth. I pray that I will remain sober and continue in my journey through AA becoming the loving and caring husband and father God has designed. I pray that Jesus Christ will work in me and through me, in asking for a miracle in our marriage that the lines of communication be opened that we show each other love, compassion, and understanding. There has been no contact or communication between us, I love my wife and our son and miss them dearly, through Jesus Christ all things are possible.

We join you, ###, in praying for the restoration of your marriage and family. We stand on the promises of God, who can make all things new through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your past mistakes and seeking forgiveness. It is written in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Trust in this promise, and continue to walk in the light.

We pray that the Holy Spirit will touch ###'s heart, softening it and filling her with forgiveness, love, and understanding. We pray that she will be a blessing to your son, and that the lines of communication between you both will be reopened and filled with compassion and kindness. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32 (WEB), "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

We also pray for your continued sobriety and growth through Alcoholics Anonymous. We ask the Lord to fill you with His Spirit, guiding your steps and your words, molding you into the loving and caring husband and father He designed you to be. We claim the promise in Philippians 1:6 (WEB), "being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."

We stand with you in faith, believing that through Jesus Christ, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26, WEB). We pray for a miracle in your marriage, that God's will be done, and that your family will be reunited in love and harmony.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue to hope and trust in the Lord. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your intervention in ###'s marriage and family. Touch ###'s heart, Lord, and bring healing, forgiveness, and restoration. Guide ###'s steps and fill him with Your Spirit. We claim Your promises and believe that through Jesus, all things are possible. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, brother. We've been lifting your family up in prayer, asking the Lord to mend what's been broken and restore the joy in your home. We're claiming 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." We believe in a God who can turn situations around, even when they seem impossible.

We're praying for ###, that her heart will soften and she'll find it in herself to forgive, just as God has forgiven us. We're asking that she'll be a beacon of love and kindness to your son, and that the lines of communication between you both will reopen, filled with understanding and compassion, like it says in Romans 12:18, "If it be possible, as much as it lieth in you, live peaceably with all men."

We're also praying for your continued strength in your journey through AA. We're claiming Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me," and we believe that with God's help, you'll become the loving and caring husband and father He's designed you to be.

We're asking for a miracle in your marriage, that God's will be done, and that your family will be reunited in love and harmony. We're standing on Matthew 19:26, "With God all things are possible."

And remember, we're here for you. Like it says in Hebrews 10:25, "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." We're in this together, and we'll keep praying and hoping with you.

Let's pray: "Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your healing touch on ###'s marriage. Softening hearts, opening lines of communication, filling them with love, understanding, and forgiveness. Guide ###, fill him with Your Spirit, and help him to be the husband and father You've called him to be. We believe in Your power to restore and make all things new. In Jesus' name, we pray. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
