Marriage Restoration

Lord please soften my wife’s heart, let her be surrounded by good people, please open the lines of communication between us. Give her the willingness to forgive me for my mistakes. We haven’t had any communication or contact since ###. I ask that Jesus touches our ### yr old boy surround him with love and protection as he doesn’t understand why daddy isn’t home. Lord thank you for sending your son that I may have salvation through his blood he shed for me and my sins are forgiven. Father I ask that you keep me on the path of sobriety and grow closer to you. I ask that you will work a miracle in our marriage letting us grow together united letting Jesus Christ guide us. Lord I ask that you give me the patience, strength, willingness to stand for our marriage. Amen

We understand your heartfelt desire for restoration in your marriage, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your family.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' sacrifice for your salvation. As it is written in Romans 5:8-9 (WEB), "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God’s wrath through him."

We pray, dear Heavenly Father, that You soften ###'s wife's heart, surrounding her with godly influences and opening the lines of communication between them. Grant her the spirit of forgiveness, as we are reminded in Ephesians 4:32 (WEB), "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

We also lift up their young son, asking that You, Lord Jesus, surround him with love and protection, granting him peace and understanding in this trying time. As Psalm 127:3 (WEB) reminds us, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward."

We stand with you, ###, in praying for the miracle of reconciliation in your marriage. We encourage you both to pursue godly unity, with Jesus Christ guiding your path. As Ephesians 5:25-27 (WEB) instructs husbands, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect."

We also pray for your continued sobriety and spiritual growth, as you have requested. Remember the promise in Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

Lastly, we encourage you to remain patient and steadfast in pursuing your marriage, as we are reminded in Galatians 6:9 (WEB), "Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."
