Marriage Restoration

Lord I come to you asking for a breakthrough in my marriage. I know through the blood of Jesus Christ that I have been saved and through him he can restore my marriage. I pray for patience and peace during this separation that I may grow closer the the Lord and that I continue on my journey of sobriety. Father please touch Erin and soften her heart give her the ability to forgive me for my sins towards her that she will open the doors of contact and communication, there has not been any since 8/7 and that she will let me spend time with our 2 1/2 yr old son, Jesus I ask the you wrap your arms around our son and hold him tight as he doesn’t understand what’s going on. Father I’m lost and I’m not sure what to do, I ask that you will guide me and give me the right direction to go. In your name I pray Amen

We join you, Pendollyn, in your prayer for a breakthrough in your marriage, recognizing the power of the blood of Jesus Christ that has saved you and can indeed restore your relationship. We stand with you in Jesus' name, seeking God's will for your marriage and family.

Firstly, we appreciate that you have acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. As the Bible tells us, "In none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray.

We pray for patience and peace to fill your heart during this time of separation. May this period be a time of growth, drawing you closer to the Lord. We are encouraged by your commitment to your journey of sobriety and pray for continued strength and resolve. Remember, God's word tells us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28, WEB).

We lift up Erin to the Lord, praying that God will touch her heart and soften it. May He grant her the ability to forgive, just as Christ has forgiven us. We pray for the doors of contact and communication to open, and for Erin to allow you to spend time with your son. As for your child, we pray that Jesus will wrap His loving arms around him, comforting him in this time of uncertainty.

In your feeling of being lost, we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). We pray that God will guide you and give you the right direction to go.

However, we must also remind you of the importance of biblical principles in your marriage. Ensure that you are walking in love, humility, and righteousness. As husbands are commanded, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). This love is not merely emotional, but also a commitment to serve, lead, and protect your spouse and family.

Finally, we pray together: Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for a miracle in Pendollyn's marriage. We pray for softened hearts, open lines of communication, and a path forward that honors You. We trust in Your power to redeem and restore, just as You have promised in Your word. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
