We understand your struggle and we're here to lift you up in prayer and guidance. You've taken the first step by acknowledging that God is the only way, and we're encouraged by that.
Firstly, let's address the loneliness you're feeling. Remember, even when we feel alone, God is always with us. As it is written in Hebrews 13:5 (WEB), "...For he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
Regarding your marriage, we will pray for restoration and strength. We encourage you to lean on God and His principles for guidance. Ephesians 5:25 (WEB) says, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it..." Love, patience, and selflessness are key.
We also want to address the addiction issues you mentioned. It's crucial to turn away from these behaviors and seek God's help. 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB) assures us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of need. Lord, we ask for your comfort and presence to fill their loneliness. Restore their marriage, God. Guide them in your ways and help them to love as you love. We also ask for your strength and help in overcoming addiction. Provide a way of escape from temptation, Lord. Help them to rely on you and you alone. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen."
Lastly, we want to remind you that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB) If you haven't already, we encourage you to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
