RESTORE
“‘You disciplined me like an unruly calf, and I have been disciplined. Restore me, and I will return, because you are the LORD my God. After I strayed, I repented; after I came to understand, I beat my breast. I was ashamed and humiliated because I bore the disgrace of my youth.’” Jeremiah 31:18-19
Do you really believe in the restoration of marriages? I do and I have been serving the Lord for over 25 years, hearing about the power of God touching and changing hearts, lives and marriages regularly. King David also knew the power of God's amazing love and forgiveness as God forgave David of adultery and murder.
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Psalm 51:1-3
Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow…. Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me…Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will turn back to you. Psalm 51:7, 9-10, 12-13
I pray that is your heart’s cry this Lord’s Day and every day. Get up in the morning and spend time with the Lord doing your devotions. Then take two to five minutes praying two to four powerful prayers in the Bible or pray the scriptures above with your spouse’s name in it. Every day you can pray different prayers:
“Lord, I thank You that this is the day that You have made and I will rejoice in it. I pray that this is the day that You will be working in my husband’s or wife’s heart to speak to them so loudly that they are starting the thought process of restoration of our marriage. Lord, I am thanking You in advance that You are ready to destroy the Jericho wall of all the different circumstances and that my spouse will escape by You sending Your warrior angels to set them free. I am waiting and expecting your miracle of marriage restoration at Your perfect timing. I praise Your Holy Name. Amen.”
Psalm 51 is a very powerful scripture that you can pray with your spouse's name in it. This is the scripture that King David prayed in repentance for his own sins. I love this Psalm, as I know the Lord God restored the joy of His salvation back to my husband, Bob, which was a promise in Psalm 51. The Lord spoke to Bob more than once, that He wanted Bob to share about God's power in solving marriage problems. Bob thought the Lord wanted him to share on a one-on-one basis, but then the Lord opened the doorway supernaturally to having us start a small ministry that God has blessed beyond what we could ever have imagined. God hates divorce and is wanting you and me to proclaim wherever we go. Last year we had visitors to our website from many different countries and territories around the world. The huge praise is that sinners and prodigal spouses are turning their hearts and lives back to their Lord God, repenting of their sins, and the Lord is cleansing His children from their sinful nature and marriages are being restored! Are you committed to your marriage forever?
“Haven’t you read, “he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” Matthew 19:4-6

God our Father we continue to come to You our only Hope in this time. We know that the battle we are fighting cannot be won by us alone. We ask for You to intercede and be with us who stand in the gap for our spouses who have become prodigals from the covenant made in Your Sight. And we ask that You would go to our prodigals and find them where they are and bring them back into Your Perfect Love and Will. You God are the only One who knows both sides. You Jesus are the One with whom We must put before ourselves, our spouses, and are children. Help us Brother to live by Faith in You and lean not on our own understanding of the circumstances but by Yours and what you are asking us to do. May we hear Your Voice and understand Your Will, without doubt or confusion, silence God all other influences that are not of Your Devine Inspiration or Direction... Restore and Renew all Marriages Father, bind the work of the evil one from us all and clothe all of is in " The ARMOR OF GOD" to protect us from that which is not of You. I come to You my only Hope in full belief that You are the One and Only God. And that with You All Things Are Possible, though they maybe impossible for me, for You they are not. Hear our prayer God and release Your Blessings of Healing, Mercy, Grace, Love, Joy, and Peace. Thank You for Hearing Your children's pleas and that You are a loving and caring God, that Loves us. In Jesus name I pray... Amen
