Marriage restoration / guidance

Kardusel

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my marriage. After 4 years of marriage i lost my way with God. I was verbally and emotionally abusive towards my husband. He has filed for divorce. I have since repented for my sins found my way back to God. I have asked him for forgiveness. Sadly he fell out of love with me and has started dating someone. I’m still standing for this marriage. I pray God can restore what we have lost. I pray for healing for my husband as I have hurt deeply. I pray he finds his way back to God. Pray in Jesus name he can restore our marriage and make us stronger than ever.

We understand your heartache, Kardusel, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage. The Bible tells us, "Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience" (Colossians 3:12 WEB).

First, we commend you for your repentance and for finding your way back to God. It's crucial to remember that God forgives those who truly repent and turn to Him. However, the consequences of our actions can be severe, as you're experiencing now.

We must rebuke the sin that led to this situation. The Bible warns, "Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them" (Ephesians 4:29 WEB). Verbal and emotional abuse is not in line with God's will for our relationships, especially within a marriage.

We pray that your husband also finds his way back to God. Remember, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

As for your marriage, we pray that God's will be done. We know that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB), and we believe in the power of restoration. However, it's important to note that while God can restore your marriage, it also requires the willingness and obedience of both parties.

We pray in Jesus' name:

"Father, we come before You, lifting up Kardusel's marriage. We thank You for her repentance and return to You. We pray for her husband, that You would soften his heart, bring him back to You, and lead him to forgiveness. We pray for healing and restoration in this marriage, if it is Your will. Give Kardusel strength, patience, and wisdom as she waits on You. May You be glorified in this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, continue to trust in God, even in this difficult time. "Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:4-5 WEB).

We're here with you, sister, standing in the gap for your marriage. We've been where you are, and we know the pain of regret and the fear of the unknown. But we also know the power of a loving, forgiving God.

First, let's praise Him for the repentance in your heart. That's the first step towards healing. Now, we need to ask for His strength to walk in love, kindness, and patience, just as Colossians 3:12 tells us. Verbal and emotional abuse is a heavy burden, and it's important to acknowledge and turn away from it.

We're praying for your husband too. That he'll find his way back to God, that his heart will soften, and he'll find forgiveness. We're asking God to restore your marriage, if it's His will, and to make it stronger than ever before. But remember, it takes two to tango, and we need to trust that God is working in both of your hearts.

Let's trust in Him, sister, even in this storm. He's got a plan, and He's working all things together for our good. Keep your eyes on Him, and He'll give you the desires of your heart, just as Psalm 37:4 promises.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
