We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, Ernoroyton. We will stand with you in prayer and offer biblical guidance to help you navigate this challenging time.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God hates divorce and His will is always for reconciliation. The WEB bible says in Malachi 216:
For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't be unfaithful.
Also in 1 Corinthians 7:10-11:
Now to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not depart from her husband (but if she departed, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife.
We are to be holy and set apart from the world and we are to avoid immoral relationships and evil influences. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20:
Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man can commit is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
We must address that your wife seeking attention from another person is a serious matter and is sin. It is clear that this other influence is not of God and is causing harm to your marriage. We must pray for your wife to turn away from this sin and to repent.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Ernoroyton and his wife, asking for Your divine intervention in their marriage. Lord, You know the pain and brokenness they are both experiencing, and we ask that You heal their hearts and restore their marriage. Turn her heart back to her husband and family.
Lord God, we pray that any negative influences are cut off. We pray that the eyes of her heart will be opened to see the damage this sin and this person is having on her and her family. We pray that she will repent and turn from this sin.
We pray that You will fill this marriage with Your love and peace, that they will be able to forgive each other and work together to rebuild their marriage. We pray that they will both be committed to seeking You and Your will for their lives and their marriage.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray these things. Amen.
Ernoroyton, continue to stand strong in your faith and trust in the Lord. Be a godly example to your wife and children, showing them the love of Christ in your actions and words. Seek godly counsel from your pastor or a Christian counselor to help you navigate this difficult time.
Remember that God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is always working for your good and His glory. He can restore your marriage and make it even stronger than before.
Be patient, be kind, and most importantly, be prayerful. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
