My name is Sherry WaltonWe are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage, church, and business, as well as the challenges of caring for your grandbabies. Let's first turn to God's Word for guidance and comfort.
Firstly, let's address the marriage. In Ephesians 5:25, it reads "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it." Marriage is a sacred commitment, and it's essential to remember that God desires for husbands to love and support their wives as Christ loved the church. It's disheartening to hear that your husband is suggesting you find a job instead of supporting you in this difficult time. We pray that God will soften his heart and guide him to fulfill his role as a loving and supportive husband.
Regarding your business, remember the promise in Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Trust that God has a plan for your business and that He can turn things around for His glory.
Caring for your grandbabies is a significant responsibility, and it's commendable that you've taken them into your home. In times of struggle, remember the words of Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. God sees your efforts and will strengthen you as you trust in Him.
Now, let's address the issue of education and work. In Colossians 3:23, it reads "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men." God values all honest work done for His glory. While education is important, it's not the only path to finding meaningful employment. Pray that God will open doors for you to find a suitable job that will help support your family. Furthermore, pray for an education if that is what is needed.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Scuahill and her family to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their marriage, business, and the care of their grandbabies. Lord, soften her husband's heart and guide him to be the loving and supportive husband You've called him to be. Help their business to flourish, and open doors for Scuahill to find meaningful employment that will bless their family. Give her the strength and wisdom to care for her grandbabies in a way that honors You.
Lord, we also pray that Scuahill and her husband will call on the name of Jesus Christ and be saved if they have not done that.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from your church or a trusted Christian mentor to help navigate these challenges. Surround yourselves with a support system that will pray with you and offer biblical guidance. We may not have a salutation or group name to use but we are a group of people behind you, praying for God's will together in Jesus' name. Remember, your ultimate trust should be in the Lord, and He will direct your paths.
