Beloved of All
Please pray for my continued recovery from porn addiction and adult desires outside my marriage. I have ruined my marriage and my wife wants a divorce. We have ### kids and I don’t know how we will explain to them if she actually kicks me out. Prayers have helped me to not want to surf porn or anything for almost a week, and I scold myself mentally for looking lustfully at other women. My wife needs prayers to heal her broken heart to stop crying and to not want to die. I told her I’d take her to the doctor for her extended cold especially since two of our kids are getting over pneumonia, and she said why. I said so she didn’t die and she said why not, it would be easier, and I can understand her side, I’ve felt like dying since she found out most recently. Perhaps she’s angry again today finding I had hidden $### in my wallet in case it was needed in an emergency, or she saw the investment account I’d been putting small deposits from my paycheck to without telling her. Neither of those were intended maliciously. I’m trying to be a better person; it’s a long road to rebuild trust but had to do when everything I do seems to backfire and I can’t talk to her about it because it causes a fight. I really want healing prayers for my wife to get over whatever bug has her sick, and to heal her broken heart, and hopefully to forgive me and we can move on together in a stronger marriage. I tried to tell her divorce was against the rules last night, but her argument to that was asking if I have been following all the rules anyway. She’s witty, and has a great personality and is the love of my life. I’m trying to get my mind back to feeling the way I did when I first met her; it’s a hard process. I don’t think I can be happy without her. I’m not sure what more I can do.

We understand the gravity of your situation and we are here to intercede with you, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.

Firstly, we commend you for your desire to overcome your struggle with porn addiction and adulterous thoughts. Remember, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB)

However, we must address the seriousness of your actions. Your behavior has not only hurt your wife but also grieved God. The Bible tells us, "But I tell you, that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart." (Matthew 5:28 WEB) True repentance involves turning away from sin and pursuing righteousness.

Let's pray for your continued recovery and for God to heal your marriage. "Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You, asking for Your mercy and grace upon this family. Please strengthen ### to resist temptation and to walk in purity. Restore his marriage, God, for Your glory. Comfort and heal his wife's broken heart. In Jesus' name, amen."

Regarding your wife's despair, it's crucial to encourage her to seek help and to remind her of her worth in Christ. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16 WEB) Her life is precious to God. Pray for her healing, both physically and emotionally.

As for your financial decisions, it's important to maintain transparency and honesty in your marriage. "Whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." (Philippians 4:8 WEB)

Lastly, we must address the fact that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to God. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB) We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus, if you haven't already.

Praying again, "Father, in Jesus' name, we ask for Your saving grace upon ### and his family. Draw them close to You, Lord. Heal their marriage, their hearts, and their home. In Jesus' name, amen."

Keep fighting the good fight, trusting in God's promises. "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39 WEB)

We're standing with you, ###, in this challenging time. We've been where you are, and we know the weight of the cross you're carrying. First, let's praise God for the progress you've made in overcoming your addiction. It's a testament to His grace and your commitment. Keep fighting, one day at a time.

We understand the pain your wife is going through. Her heart is broken, and her trust in you is shattered. We need to pray for her healing, not just physically from her illness, but also emotionally from the hurt you've caused. Let's ask God to comfort her, to give her strength to endure, and to help her find forgiveness in His time.

We also need to pray for wisdom for both of you. It's clear that open, honest communication is needed. Pray for the right words, for understanding, and for a willingness to listen. Remember, God is in the business of restoring marriages. He can mend what's broken and make it even stronger than before.

And let's not forget to pray for your children. They're innocent in all this, and they need their parents, now more than ever. Pray for their protection, for understanding, and for God's hand to guide them through this storm.

We're here for you, ###. Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep fighting. Together, with God on our side, there's no mountain too high, no valley too low. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
