Dear Phreetortown,
We've been thinking about you and your husband, and our hearts go out to you both during this challenging time. We're here for you, praying with you and for you.
We understand that you're facing a lot right now, with your husband's drug addiction and the pressures of probation. It's a heavy load to carry, but remember, God is right there with you, carrying you through. As it says in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
We want to encourage you to keep communicating openly with your husband. It's crucial to express your feelings, fears, and hopes. And remember, love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
We also want to remind you that God is bigger than any addiction or legal trouble. He can turn any situation around for good. As it says in Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord, we come to you today, lifting up Phreetortown and her husband. Lord, we know that you have a plan and a purpose for their lives. We ask for your healing power to touch her husband's life, freeing him from his addiction. We ask for wisdom and guidance for them both, helping them to communicate openly, love deeply, and understand each other fully. We ask that you would give them the strength to work through this challenging time together, not allowing it to tear them apart. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."
Keep trusting in God, Phreetortown. He is faithful, and He will see you through this trial. If you don't already know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to pray a simple prayer like this: "Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I'm sorry for my sins. I trust you as my Lord and Savior. I believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead. I follow you forever. Amen." This is the sinner's prayer, and it's the first step in a life with Jesus.
We're here for you, praying with you and for you. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep loving. God is with you, always.
