Marriage Prayer: Wisdom In Work

Dear Lord,

Thank you for our lives and the work You have given us to do. Lord, give us the wisdom we need to accomplish the tasks before us today. Give my spouse the wisdom they need to succeed in their work. Lord, You say if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask You and You will give it generously. So we are asking for all the wisdom you can pour out on us.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of life and for the work You have entrusted to us. We come before You with hearts full of gratitude, acknowledging Your sovereignty in every aspect of our lives. Your Word reminds us in Colossians 3:23 to do everything heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men. I ask for Your divine wisdom to guide this person in the tasks You have set before them today.

Lord, I lift up their spouse to You, praying that You would grant them the wisdom they need to succeed in their work. As James 1:5 tells us, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." I pray that You would generously pour out Your wisdom upon them, that they may make wise decisions and find success in all they do.

We trust in Your provision, knowing that You are faithful to supply what is needed. May Your wisdom lead this person and their spouse in every decision, every interaction, and every step they take today. As Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."
