Dear Lord,
Thank you for the complete redeeming work of Your son Jesus Christ. Without His sacrifice and resurrection, we would still be dead in our sin and slave to its desires. Lord, because of You, we have been set free from the bonds of sin and can now walk in complete freedom. We pray that we would walk in this victory every day. We know that even though we are no longer slaves to sin, we still have the ability to choose to sin and we acknowledge that sin is not something that just happens to us. Holy Spirit, remind us daily to say no to sin, and yes to righteousness. We pray that we would present our bodies to the Lord to be used as instruments of righteousness. We pray that we would be fully convinced that we are more than conquerors through the power of God living in us. Thank you Lord for the gift of freedom. We pray that we never take it for granted.
