Marriage Prayer: Obedience

Dear Lord,

You desire obedience rather than sacrifice. You have told us in Your word that if we love You then we will obey You. Lord, we desire to obey You, but sometimes we don’t know how to. Lord, bring us to Your word and show us the areas in our lives that we are in disobedience. Show us where You would like change to occur in us.

In Jesus’ name, amen!

Prayerfully consider if this Biblical approach to health care might be God’s provision for your family, too.

We’ve discovered something that has transformed how our family approaches healthcare, and we’re excited to share it with you.

For years, our family has been part of Samaritan Ministries—a biblical health care sharing community that is genuinely different from insurance.

Here’s why we love it:

  • Biblical Model: Instead of paying premiums to insurance companies, we directly send our shares to fellow believers with medical needs, following Galatians 6:2, “Bear one another’s burdens.”
  • Freedom of Choice: We select our own doctors and treatment options without network restrictions.
  • Christian Values: We participate in a ministry that honors life and aligns with Biblical principles about health care and stewardship.
  • Personal Connection: Each month, we send support directly to specific families facing medical needs, accompanied by prayers and encouragement.
  • Potential Savings: Many families find Samaritan more affordable than insurance options.

When we’ve had our own shareable medical expenses, the support from our brothers and sisters in Christ has been both practical and deeply moving. It’s healthcare the way God designed His people to care for one another.
