Truidaraendell, we are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage. We commend you for seeking God's will and not giving up on your commitment. Remember, God's design for marriage is clear: "Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." (Mark 10:9 WEB) and that God hates divorce Malachi 2:16.
In times of trouble, God wants us to turn to Him for help and guidance. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). It is encouraging that you do not want to walk away from your marriage. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Firstly, let's pray for your strength and endurance. "Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and sustainer of faith." (Hebrews 12:1-2 WEB). God knows your struggle and wants to equip you with the endurance you need to keep running your race.
Secondly, let's pray for your husband. It's commendable that you desire for God to reveal Himself to him. "God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB). As you pray for him, remember that God is patient and loving, desiring that all should come to know Him.
Lastly, let's pray for peace in your home. "Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15 WEB). God calls us to live in peace, and that includes our homes. Trust that God can bring peace into any situation, no matter how turbulent.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister ### and her marriage. Lord, we know that You have joined them together, and we ask for Your divine intervention in their home. Please provide her with the strength and endurance to run her race with patience.
We also pray for her husband, Lord. Reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, that he may come to the full knowledge of You. Soften his heart and bring peace into their home.
In Jesus Christ's precious name, we pray. Amen.
