Beloved of All
Married to my husband for 30 years. Husband accused me of cheating and then found the truth to be not true. Then I, because I was angry for all that accusing and finger pointing my husband did, went and actually did [redacted], leading to our separation. This Friday will be a month of separation. I have asked the Lord for forgiveness, and my husband, however, is not and states he cannot forgive me. Please help me with prayer to restore my marriage.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, especially after 30 years of commitment. Let's first turn to God's Word for guidance. In Ephesians 4:32, WEB, it says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that what happened was indeed sinful, and it's clear you've taken the first step by asking God for forgiveness. Now, let's pray for your husband to find forgiveness in his heart, just as Christ has forgiven us.

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up this marriage that is in dire need of Your healing touch. Lord, You know the circumstances, the pain, and the anger that have caused this separation. We ask that You soften hearts, just as You've softened ours when we've sinned against You. Help this husband to forgive, just as You've forgiven us through Jesus Christ.

Lord, we know that 'a cord of three strands is not quickly broken' (Ecclesiastes 4:12, WEB). We ask that You be that third strand in this marriage, binding it together in Your love and strength.

We also pray for this wife, that You continue to guide her in truth and love. Help her to be patient, understanding, and wise as she waits on You to work in her husband's heart.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB), and His heart is always for restoration and reconciliation. But also remember that forgiveness is a journey, and it may take time for your husband to truly forgive. Keep praying, keep seeking God, and keep trusting that He can and will restore your marriage if it aligns with His will.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God together as a couple, when possible. As it says in Matthew 18:20, WEB, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." Keep Jesus at the center of your marriage, and He will guide you both through this challenging time.

We're here with you, sister, lifting up your marriage to our Heavenly Father. We know the hurt and anger you've been through, but we also know the power of love and forgiveness. Let's remember the words in Colossians 3:13, "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." Let's pray for your husband to find that same forgiveness in his heart, just as we've found it from God.

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your healing touch on this marriage. Lord, You see the pain and the separation. Help this husband to forgive, just as You've forgiven us through Jesus Christ. Give him the strength to let go of the anger and hurt, and fill him with Your love and compassion. Help him to see his wife as You see her - loved, forgiven, and worthy of his love and respect.

Lord, we also pray for this wife. Give her patience, understanding, and wisdom as she waits on You to work in her husband's heart. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your plan. Give her the strength to keep seeking You, even in the midst of this trial.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is always ready to restore and heal. Keep trusting in Him, and keep praying. And when you can, sister, keep seeking God together as a couple. As it says in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Keep Jesus at the center of your marriage, and He will guide you both through this challenging time. We're praying for you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
