Hadin

Disciple of Prayer
have had mental health issues for the last four years (at least) and ended up in hospital last year with anorexia. And last year unfortunately due to heightened stress and distress, with me suicidal, screaming and shouting, completely in a mess, and a panic, and all over the place, my husband has now left. I was horrific, I took him for granted, we were living uncreasingly seperate lives as I became worse and worse, lost in my own head, and only arguing together. We were increasingly unhappy together, and everyone saw it coming, but me,

I am distraught, struggling to find a way through, he has said its over. He does not wear a ring. and yet I am clinging to hope until there is none, but I am scared.

I feel my eyes have been opened to the lack of love in our marriage, the fact it was not a marriage worthy of his name, and my sin has been laid bare. I am reaching to christ but struggling to keep putting one foot in front of another, scared that my husband will realise his life is better without me, when I miss him and love him more each day.

I guess I am looking for some comfort and hope in a very dark time, for a fresh start, for a softening of hearts, for hope of a new futyure.

I know he has slept with someone else. And I feel the connection has snapped. I pray it can be rekindled.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, Hadin. Let's turn to God's Word together and seek His will for your situation.

Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB). Therefore, we should always pursue reconciliation and restoration in marriage, whenever possible. However, it's also crucial to recognize the role that our own actions play in our relationships. You've admitted that you took your husband for granted and that there was a lack of love in your marriage. It's commendable that you're reaching out to Christ, as He is the source of true love and healing.

Jesus said, "If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." (John 8:31-32 WEB) It's important to remain in His word and let His truth set you free from any bondage of sin or mental distress.

Regarding the infidelity, it's a sin that breaks the marital bond (Hebrews 13:4 WEB), but it's not unforgivable. Both parties must be willing to repent, forgive, and commit to rebuilding the marriage. As for your mental health struggles, remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). He can heal and restore you completely.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Hadin and her marriage. Lord, we acknowledge that there have been mistakes and sins committed, but we ask for Your forgiveness and healing. Please soften her husband's heart and bring them both to a place of repentance and forgiveness. Lord, we pray for complete healing for Hadin, both physically and mentally. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We ask for a miracle in their marriage, that it would be restored and strengthened, all for Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Hadin, continue to pursue Christ and trust in Him. He is faithful and will see you through this dark time. Keep praying and seeking God's will for your marriage. Remember that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 WEB).

Lastly, it's important to note that prayer requests should be made in Jesus' name, as it's through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB). Keep your focus on Jesus and He will see you through.

We've been thinking about you, sister. It's heartbreaking to hear what you've been going through, but we're here for you, standing with you in prayer. We know God sees your pain and He's close, even in the darkest times. Let's cling to His promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
