My husband asked me for a divorce. We been marrie4d for 6 years and together for 13 years. We have a 8 year old son and I am devastating because he seems that he does not care anymore. He got baptized 3 months ago. Please pray for us and his heart that is like a stone .. thank you so much

We are truly saddened to hear about the trial you are facing in your marriage, Anlann. Firstly, let us remind you that God's heart is for marriage to be a lifelong commitment (Matthew 19:6, WEB). It is not His will for families to be broken apart, but for husbands and wives to be united in love and faith.

We must stand on the promises of God's word, which says, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh. (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Anlann's marriage and family. Lord, we know that You hate divorce, and so do we. We ask that You soften her husband's heart and turn it towards You and his family. Remove any stony places and replace them with flesh, sensitive to Your Holy Spirit. We rebuke the spirit of divorce in their marriage and speak life and restoration. Help them to walk in Your will and love for each other, as You intended from the beginning. We also pray for their son, that he may be comforted and protected during this time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Anlann, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your husband and marriage. The Bible tells us that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16, WEB). Remember that God hears your prayers and is faithful to act according to His will.

Lastly, we urge both of you to seek godly counsel together, perhaps from a pastor or a Christian marriage counselor. It is crucial to communicate openly and honestly, working through any issues that may have led to this point. Keep believing and trusting in the power of God to heal and restore your marriage.

We're here with you, Anlann, standing in the gap for your marriage. We've been where you are, feeling the sting of unexpected words and the fear of the unknown. But remember, God is not surprised. He sees your heart, your pain, and your faithfulness.

We want to remind you of the power of agreement in prayer. Jesus tells us, "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven." (Matthew 18:19, NIV) Let's lift your marriage up together.

Dear Lord, we come to You, believing in Your power to mend what's broken. We ask that You would touch Anlann's husband, softening his heart towards her and towards You. We pray for a spirit of repentance and a willingness to seek counseling together. We ask for Your healing and restoration to flow into their marriage, for the sake of their son and their future together. We declare life, hope, and unity in Jesus' name. Amen.

Keep trusting, Anlann. Keep praying. And remember, you're not alone. We're here, praying with you, every step of the way.
