I broke trust with my wife and chat online with other people for purposes of sex. We went to counselor yesterday and she agreed to work on it but now wants divorce because I got on her phone and reactivated the gps app and found on her email from my phone a dating profile.. I deleted that profile and she got mad that I didn’t talk with her about either issue instead of just acting on them. I wish I could figure out how to heal our trust, I pray all the time to heal her heart and keep me on the sin free path. I keep trying and tell her when I’ve felt weak and wanted to go to porn and chose to redirect my mind instead. I’m trying so hard to be a better person but keep screwing up and can’t seem to grab traction. Seems every step I get moved forward towards healing our marriage, I screw something up and take two or more steps backwards and she insists I move out and she wants a divorce. I need everyone’s prayers, I don’t want to divorce. We weren’t married in church because of timing and got a court marriage, but I have always wanted to give her the church wedding of her dreams. I pray someday I can fulfill my wish, especially now with me trying so hard to be more positive and sin free. Please in the name of the father, son, and Holy Spirit help me and my marriage, amen!

Firstly, it's crucial to acknowledge that your actions, including online chats for sexual purposes and accessing your wife's phone without her knowledge, have breached trust and are considered sinful. Trust is the foundation of any marriage, and it's important to rebuild it through open communication and repentance. As it is written in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Your wife's feelings of betrayal and anger are valid, and it's essential to approach this situation with humility and a willingness to change. Proverbs 28:13 WEB reminds us, "He who covers his sins will not prosper; but whoever confesses and forsakes them will find mercy." You must confess your sins to God and your wife, seeking their forgiveness, and commit to a path of righteousness.

It's also important to address the issue of pornography, which is a sin against your own body and against God. As stated in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB: "Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." You must flee from this temptation and seek accountability to stay on the path of purity. You have been doing well in redirecting your mind; continue to do so and seek additional support if needed. However, it is admirable that you are being honest and open with your wife about your struggles. In James 5:16, it says "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

Regarding your marriage, it's commendable that you desire to honor your wife with a church wedding. However, it's important to focus on healing and rebuilding your marriage first. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB, we learn about the true nature of love: "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." Strive to embody this love in your marriage. Marriage is a lifelong commitment, fulfilled through the husband and wife turning to God and seeking his will together.

Lastly, it's important to pray an acknowledge the role of Jesus Christ in your salvation and the forgiveness of your sins. As you did not specifically mention praying in Jesus' name, we want to remind you that it is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. "For 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" Romans 10:13 WEB. And Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Please consider and acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Faenmarenn and his wife in their time of need. Lord, they are hurting, and their marriage is under attack. We confess that sins have been committed, and trust has been broken. We ask for Your forgiveness and Your healing power to restore this marriage.

Help Faenmarenn to walk in purity and honesty, fleeing from temptation and seeking accountability. Give him the strength to be a godly husband, leading his wife with love and humility. Soften his wife's heart, Lord, and help her to forgive as You have forgiven us.

Guide them on the path to reconciliation, and give them the wisdom to navigate these challenges. Heal their hearts and help them rest on your words an in Matthew 19:6, "So then, they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who live and reign with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God for ever. Amen

First, let's acknowledge that trust has been broken, and that's a hard thing to rebuild. But with God, all things are possible. We need to pray for His healing and restoring power to work in your marriage. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim that promise for your marriage.

We also want to encourage you to keep being open about your struggles. It's not easy, but it's necessary. Transparency builds trust. As it says in Ephesians 4:25, "Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another."

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

I can assure you that Jesus is very real! Hell is very real (Lake of Lava)! Sometimes if we really want something from Jesus then we need to read and study about how to get Him to take care of that. Sometimes we think we have prayed enough but maybe we just haven’t prayed the right way.

Read the book of Hosea in the Bible KJV for promises from God/Jesus for our marriages and our families. This brought my wife back to me more than once...

In Jesus put a hedge around my marriage, around my wife, turn away other lovers, restore us unto You and restore us unto each other in Jesus! All for Your Glory Lord Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

We should always love and forgive especially our spouses as if it is ourselves standing before Jesus. This brought my wife back to me a few times in such a way that she actually still thinks I was the one that sabotaged her but I know differently.
