Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus Christ, we come before you on behalf of Cewille and her family. We lift up her husband to you, Lord, who has been involved in an affair. We ask that you touch his heart and draw him back to you. Help him to seek you, Lord, and find true happiness and love in his relationship with you and with his wife.
Father, we pray that you would restore their marriage and make it a top priority for her husband. We ask that you break the hold of Satan over him and release him from any bondage or deception. Your Word says in James 4:7, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We declare victory over the enemy's schemes and pray for freedom and restoration in their marriage.
Lord, we ask for wisdom and guidance for the counselor who is working with Cewille's husband. May they be instrumental in helping him release his anger, soften his heart, and break any soul ties with the other woman. We pray for a breakthrough in his life, that he may experience true repentance and forgiveness.
Father, we also lift up the issue of drinking in Cewille's husband's life. We ask that you intervene and help him overcome this struggle. Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We pray for strength and deliverance from this addiction.
Lord, we pray for the children in this family. We ask that you protect them from the effects of this situation and bring healing to their hearts. May they experience the love and presence of their father in their lives. Help them to understand and forgive, and may their family be a testimony of your grace and restoration.
Finally, we rebuke the attacks of Satan on this family. We declare your authority and power over every scheme and strategy of the enemy. Your Word assures us in 1 John 4:4, "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." We stand firm in faith, trusting in your victory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
