We are with you in spirit, Terasuau, and we are praying fervently for you and your husband as you prepare for your first Christian counseling and deliverance session. We stand on the promises of God, knowing that He is able to heal and restore your marriage.
Firstly, we must acknowledge the seriousness of the issues at hand. Infidelity is a grave sin, but remember that God's grace is sufficient for even this. Proverbs 28:13 (WEB) tells us, "He who covers his sins will not prosper; but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy." We pray for conviction in your husband's heart and in the heart of the person with whom he has been involved. We pray that they both turn away from this sin and seek God's forgiveness and mercy.
We also recognize the spiritual warfare you are facing. The enemy has flooded your husband with attacks, and generational curses of trauma, abuse, and emotional pain have kept him bound. But we are reminded in Ephesians 6:12 (WEB), "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We pray against these strongholds, asking God to break every chain and bring deliverance to your husband.
Pray with us:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Terasuau and her husband. Lord, we ask that You soften her husband's heart and open his mind as they prepare for their counseling session. Break down the walls that the enemy has built, and bring conviction to his heart regarding the affair. Convict the other person involved as well, Lord. We pray for deliverance from all spiritual strongholds and generational curses. Restore their marriage, Lord, and guide them both through this difficult journey.
Strengthen Terasuau, Lord, as she walks through this storm. Help her to surrender this battle to You and trust in Your will. Order her steps and build her up to be the woman of noble character described in Proverbs 31. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Terasuau, continue to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). God is faithful, and He will see you through this trial. We are here with you, praying and believing for victory in your marriage.
