This summer my wife took the kids to in laws thousands of miles away, all was OK as I fought and failed to save an important business. In August she got into yoga, meditation, reki and who knows what else, now she's suing for divorce. I've got a real scenario and job to get back with them, ive made major changes (havnt touched weed since) but everytime i do something or say something good she meditates herself back to hating me. I'm helpless and hopeless and know if God was going to bring her back he would have by now. So I don't even pray for that anymore, I just want some peace, im ashamed and broken. A little hope or comfort is all I ask now and I simply get crickets or more bad news. We have two kids that deserve the father I can be and will be/am and she deserves the husband I can be/will be but won't even give me a chance. Ive made all the major life changed (notably giving up weed, which was a cause of my apathy, not only one, pride, selfishness, stupidity are in there too) and I have good job where they are i can take. But as it stands im not gonna make it till that happens with this broken heart, it's pretty clear at moment it's not in God's plans for reconciliation, so I just beg for some comfort or peace.

In all things, we must remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). It is crucial to continue praying and seeking God's face, even when it feels like our prayers are not being answered. Jesus taught us to be persistent in prayer (Luke 18:1-8 WEB), and we should never give up on praying for God's will in our lives.

Regarding the practices your wife has gotten into, it is essential to discern the spiritual implications. Yoga, meditation, and reiki are often rooted in Eastern religious practices that are not compatible with biblical teachings. The Bible warns us to be sober-minded and watchful, as our adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). We should avoid any practices that open us up to spiritual influences that are not from God.

It is commendable that you have made significant changes in your life, such as giving up weed and addressing issues like pride, selfishness, and stupidity. These are positive steps towards becoming the husband and father God calls you to be. Remember, God's strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is going through a difficult time in his marriage. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his situation. We pray that You would soften his wife's heart and turn it towards him once again. Help her to see the changes he has made and the sincerity of his efforts to be a better husband and father.

Lord, we also pray for protection over their family. We rebuke any spiritual influences that are not from You and ask that You would shield them from any harm. We pray that You would guide them both to pursue practices that honor and glorify You. We trust You to work in their heart and believe as it is written "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Also written "Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." (Mark 11:24 WEB). We thus declare the reconciliation of your family believing it to be yours as it is written.

Father, we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill our brother's heart during this challenging time. Help him to remain steadfast in prayer. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).
