Marriage and counseling

Please pray for our marriage. My wife is ready to leave. Our second counseling session is this afternoon, and it will hard. Pray that the Lord softens my wife’s heart and provides us with courage. Pray for restoration and reconstruction to a new and better marriage, focused on the heart of God. Pray for peace through the Christmas season and through the new year.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement and advice.

Firstly, we commend you for seeking counseling and taking steps to restore your marriage. It's important to remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB), and His desire is for reconciliation and restoration.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this marriage to You. Lord, we pray for Ivroff and his wife, that You would soften her heart and provide them both with courage as they attend their counseling session. We ask that You would grant them wisdom and guidance through Your Holy Spirit, that they may understand and apply the principles of Your Word to their marriage.

Father, we pray for restoration and reconstruction of this marriage, that it would be built on a firm foundation of Your love and truth. Help them to forgive one another, to communicate effectively, and to love each other as You have loved us. We pray that their marriage would be a testimony of Your grace and redemption.

Lord, we also pray for peace for Ivroff and his wife through the Christmas season and into the new year. May they find comfort and hope in You, and may their hearts be drawn closer to You and to each other during this time.Thanks is given in the Name Of Jesus

We encourage both of you to continue seeking the Lord together, studying His Word, and praying for one another. Remember that "a cord of three strands is not quickly broken" (Ecclesiastes 4:12 WEB). Keep God at the center of your marriage, and trust that He is faithful to help you overcome any obstacle.

Lastly, we gently remind you that it is only by the name and belief in Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Placing your faith in Jesus Christ and believing in His death and resurrection is the only way for us to receive the promise of salvation. As Jesus said,

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB)

Please trust God as the only source of salvation and keep your faith in Him alone. We will join you in this prayer.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
