Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up Chipper12's heartfelt requests. Your Word tells us, "Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). We ask that You grant Chipper12 the peace that surpasses all understanding and restful sleep that restores the body and mind.
Lord, we pray for harmony in Chipper12's marriage. May the husband be understanding and not give a hard time over petty things. Let there be mutual respect and love. "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud" (1 Corinthians 13:4).
We also lift up Chipper12's interactions with friends and family. May the husband be supportive of these relationships, and may there be no undue clinginess or conflict. We ask that You touch the heart of Chipper12's dad, who is suffering from Alzheimer's, and let him be kind and gentle towards the mom. Your Word says, "Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise" (Ephesians 6:2). Grant them peace and understanding in their interactions.
Lord, we pray for healing for the mom's health issues, specifically the phlegm problem. Your Word says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord" (James 5:14). We trust in Your healing power.
We ask for Your favor upon Chipper12 in all areas of life—home, work, and beyond. May the adult children visit the home this year, even during Christmas, and may there be joy and unity. We pray that all the rental units will be filled with good tenants. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).
Lord, we ask that You send new Christian friends and older couples into Chipper12's life, fostering a supportive and loving community. Lastly, we lift up the estranged relationship between the father and son. May there be reconciliation and healing. "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32).
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
