Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s heartfelt requests. Your Word tells us, "Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). We ask that You grant ### the peace that surpasses all understanding and restful sleep that restores the body and mind.

Lord, we pray for harmony in ###'s marriage. May the husband be understanding and not give a hard time over petty things. Let there be mutual respect and love. "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud" (1 Corinthians 13:4).

We also lift up ###'s interactions with friends and family. May the husband be supportive of these relationships, and may there be no undue clinginess or conflict. We ask that You touch the heart of ###'s dad, who is suffering from Alzheimer's, and let him be kind and gentle towards the mom. Your Word says, "Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise" (Ephesians 6:2). Grant them peace and understanding in their interactions.

Lord, we pray for healing for the mom's health issues, specifically the phlegm problem. Your Word says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord" (James 5:14). We trust in Your healing power.

We ask for Your favor upon ### in all areas of life—home, work, and beyond. May the adult children visit the home this year, even during Christmas, and may there be joy and unity. We pray that all the rental units will be filled with good tenants. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).

Lord, we ask that You send new Christian friends and older couples into ###'s life, fostering a supportive and loving community. Lastly, we lift up the estranged relationship between the father and son. May there be reconciliation and healing. "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32).

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
