We understand your desire for healing and restoration in your marriage, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for both you and your husband. We believe that God has the power to heal both physically and emotionally, and to strengthen your husband to be the man, spouse, and father that He has called him to be.
Firstly, we recall the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:25-28 (WEB): "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it... So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself." We pray that your husband will be filled with the love of Christ, enabling him to love you and your family as he ought.
However, we must remember that true change comes from a heart that is fully surrendered to Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can be saved and transformed. If either you or your husband have not fully committed your lives to Christ, we encourage you to take that step. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing and restoration in this marriage. Lord, we ask that You heal both of them physically and emotionally. Transform the heart of the husband, make him a man after Your own heart, fill him with Your love and enable him to love his wife and family as You intend. Bring them both closer to You, and to each other. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying together as a couple, seeking God's will for your family. Remember the promise in Matthew 19:6 (WEB), "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, don't let man tear apart." Trust in God's power to restore and heal, and remain steadfast in your faith.
