We are truly heartbroken to hear about your dear friend's situation. Let us first address the urgent needs and then discuss some important biblical principles related to her circumstances.
Your friend is in a desperate situation, being bedridden, financially destitute, and without a support system. We will pray for God's mercy and provision for her. However, we need to clarify that God's will is for individuals to be cared for within the context of family and the body of Christ, which is the church. In Acts 2:44-45 and Acts 4:32-35, we see the early church caring for one another's needs, ensuring that no one lacked anything. This is the model God desires for His people.
We also need to address the fact that you mentioned your friend has a partner/caregiver who is leaving her. We believe that relationships should be in alignment with biblical principles. Marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. If your friend is not married to this person, we pray that God will bring a godly spouse into her life if it is His will. If they are married, we pray for restoration and commitment to their marriage covenant.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear sister in Christ. We pray that You would have mercy on her, Father. We ask that You would provide for her financial needs according to Your riches in glory. We pray for healing over her body, that she may be strengthened and restored.
Father, we also pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being. We ask that You would surround her with a loving community of believers who will care for her and support her in her time of need. If it is Your will, Father, we pray that You would bring a godly spouse into her life, a man who will love her as Christ loved the church.
We also pray for her current caregiver. If they are not married, we pray that You would convict their hearts and draw them to Yourself, that they may understand the sanctity of marriage and Your design for relationships. If they are married, we pray for restoration and a renewed commitment to their marriage covenant.
Finally, Father, we pray that through this trial, our sister would draw closer to You. We ask that You would give her a supernatural peace and joy that can only come from You. We pray that she would trust in You with all her heart, and lean not on her own understanding. In all her ways, may she acknowledge You, and we trust that You will make her paths straight.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you, ###, to continue to pray for your friend and to seek God's will for her life. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not leave nor forsake His children. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
If your friend has not yet accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we encourage you to share the good news with her. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If she has not yet done so, we pray that she would repent of her sins, believe in Jesus Christ, and commit her life to Him. He is the only way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him.
