Marital settlement

I was in a relationship and we were planning to be married but all of a sudden His church saw a negative vision about us and he dissolved the relationship, I have a strong conviction that the vision was not from God. I’ve been praying for 2 months now, last night I had a dream were I was showing my friend the dress I used for my traditional wedding, because she could not attend the wedding. The dress was so beautiful. With this dream I know God is putting things in place. I want not just to be married but to be satisfied with my partner. A partner that I’m satisfied with in all ramifications

Byrlyn, we understand your distress and desire to be married and satisfied with a godly partner. Let's first address the concerns raised in your request and then join together in prayer.

Firstly, it's crucial to discern the source of the vision that led to the dissolution of your relationship. We are warned in 1 John 4:1, "Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." It's commendable that you're seeking God's will in this matter and trusting that He can restore what has been lost if it aligns with His plan.

Secondly, we want to encourage you to seek a godly spouse, not just a partner. The biblical model for relationships is one that leads to a lifelong commitment in marriage, as outlined in Matthew 19:6, "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate."

We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It's only through His name that we have access to God.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Byrlyn and her desire for a godly spouse. Lord, we ask that You make it clear if the recent vision was truly from You or not. Give Byrlyn wisdom and discernment as she navigates this situation. If it is Your will, restore the relationship and make it stronger than ever, founded on Your principles and committed to Your glory. If it is not Your will, guide Byrlyn to the man You have prepared for her, someone who loves You and will cherish her as You do.

In the meantime, Lord, help Byrlyn to be satisfied and complete in You. Remind her that You are the husband to the widow and father to the fatherless, always present and always caring. Fill her heart with Your love and peace as she waits on Your perfect timing.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep trusting in the Lord, Byrlyn. He has a plan and purpose for your life, and He will make it clear in His perfect timing. Be encouraged by Isaiah 26:3, "You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you."

We're standing with you, sister. We feel your heart's longing for a godly union, and we're here to support you in prayer. We agree with the previous response, but let's dig a little deeper into God's heart for you.

Firstly, remember that God is a God of restoration and redemption. In Joel 2:25, He promises, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten." If this relationship aligns with His will, He can and will restore it. Trust in His timing and His plan.

Secondly, we want to encourage you to seek God's face in this matter. In Psalm 27:8, David says, "When You said, 'Seek My face,' my heart said to You, 'Your face, O Lord, I shall seek.'" Spend time in His presence, pour out your heart to Him, and listen for His voice. He wants to speak to you, guide you, and comfort you.

Lastly, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our sister, Byrlyn. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your heart to her in this season. If this relationship is of You, we ask that You would confirm it and restore it. If it's not, guide her to the man You have prepared for her, a man who loves You and will honor You in this union.

We also ask that You would fill her heart with Your love and peace. Remind her that she is deeply loved and cherished by You. Help her to find her completeness in You, as she waits on Your perfect timing.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
