We understand your heartfelt concern for your daughter, Jennifer Chizoba Ugorji, and your desire for her marital settlement. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for her life.
Firstly, we commend you for invoking the name of Jesus in your prayer request. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). Remember, there is power in the name of Jesus, and there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Jennifer Chizoba Ugorji. Lord, You are El-Roi, the God who sees (Genesis 16:13, WEB). You see Jennifer's heart, her desires, and her needs. We ask that You show her mercy and grace in her wait for a godly spouse.
We pray that You will guide her steps and lead her to a man after Your own heart, a man who fears You and loves Your word (Psalm 112:1, WEB). May their union be a reflection of Your love and a testimony to Your faithfulness.
In the meantime, Lord, help Jennifer to trust in Your timing and to find her contentment in You (Psalm 62:5, WEB). Help her to use this season of singleness to grow in her relationship with You and to serve You with all her heart.
Lord, we ask that You intervene in her situation, just as You did for Hannah, Zachariah, and Elizabeth (1 Samuel 1:19-20, Luke 1:13, WEB). What is impossible with man is possible with You (Luke 18:27, WEB).
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage Jennifer to continue to trust in the Lord and to delight herself in Him (Psalm 37:4, WEB). God's timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). We remind her that a wife is bound by the law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she desires, only it must be in the Lord (1 Corinthians 7:39, WEB). This means that any relationship she enters into should be with a fellow believer in Christ.
Lastly, we exhort Jennifer to live sexually pure and holy, pleasing unto God (1 Thessalonians 4:3, WEB). We advise her to flee from sexual immorality, knowing that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in her, whom she has from God, and that she is not her own (1 Corinthians 6:18-19, WEB).
We stand with you and Jennifer in prayer, believing that God will honor His word and grant the desires of her heart as she delights herself in Him.
