Pastor ### please my case is an emergency please help me, I had a child when I was ### but her father didn’t take responsibility so I became a single mother for ### years, I met an amazing man who stepped up to be a father figure and has been good to my daughter and I, we dated for ### years and now as we are making plans to get married, my boyfriend’s father is against the marriage because I have a child, Pastor ### I am shattered please pray for me that he changed his mind. What God cannot do does not exist. I know he is more than able.

Firstly, we want to address the absence of the name of Jesus in your request. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written: "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB). So, we will pray to God in the name of Jesus on your behalf.

Regarding your situation, we want to encourage you with the fact that God accepts and loves all of us, including those who have children out of wedlock. The Bible tells us, "'For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh. 'Plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.'" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). God has a plan for you, your daughter, and your boyfriend.

However, we want to remind you that the Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18), and having a child out of wedlock is a result of that. But God is merciful and forgiving. He wants you to turn from that and live according to His will. It's wonderful that you and your boyfriend are planning to marry, as God intended for a man and a woman to be together in holy matrimony.

Now, let's address the opposition from your boyfriend's father. We are instructed to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12), but ultimately, our obedience is to God (Acts 5:29). Pray that God will change his heart, but also be prepared to follow God's will regardless of his opinion.
