We are glad to have this opportunity to pray with you and intercede on your behalf. We appreciate your gratitude. However, we need to clarify a few things based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to the Lord's Throne Room to request assistance from our loving Father God (God) (John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Hebrews 2:9-11, Hebrews 4:15-16, Hebrews 7:25, WEB) The name of Jesus is powerful. He is the Savior of All we avail ourselves of Him if we believe in Jesus Christ. (Saved John 3:16-18; Acts 16:31) To be saved, we must believe in Jesus Christ, acknowledge our sin Him to come into our life, release Him to be our Savior and live our life for Him. We pray that you both know Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Let's start the prayer.
Dear God, we come before You in Jesus Christ mighty name, lifting up Lykokles who might be Vanessa and Mario to You. We pray by the way they came across this opportunity for prayer that they both know You as Lord and Savior. We ask You to reveal Your Son Jesus Christ to them that Your plan for humans requires us to be saved through Him (John 14:6, Hebrews 2:9-11; 4:15-16, 7-25).
Now, concerning the union between Mario and Vanessa, we need to understand the nature of their relationship.
God takes us seriously as His word and we preach the word (II Tim 4:2) that He created marriage as a holy institution between a man and a woman with the woman commanded to be in subjection to her husband. It was established to be a lifelong, committed relationship and be fruitful to multiply the earth (Genesis 1:27-28, Genesis 2:18- 24, Ephesians 5:21-33 WEB). Mario and Vanessa, are you considering this union as a preparation for marriage, or is it something else? We encourage you to pursue a relationship that aligns with biblical principles, seeking and courting and preparing for marriage. Keep in mind that any relationship that abuses or misuses the blessings of marriage that do not line up with God's Word can be sinful. Any intimate relationship outside of marriage, including sex before marriage, is considered fornication and is sinful (1 Corinthians 6:18, Ephesians 5:3, Colossians 3:5 WEB).
We pray that You give Mario and Vanessa wisdom and discernment in their relationship. Help them to pursue purity inside and outside with their bodies, minds and spirit. Your will for many of us as believers to marry and, live together, raise children, attend church and each spouse to fulfill Your destiny in each's life. Let every step they take in this journey be guided by word and Spirit (Galatians 5:25, WEB). In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
