Marijuana addiction

Please pray for my son Joel to overcome his addiction to Marijuana and for him to recognize that it alters his personality. I want him to be free.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Eimaira, we are united with you in prayer for your son Joel's deliverance from his marijuana addiction. We acknowledge that this struggle is not just physical, but spiritual as well. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (WEB), "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God for the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."

We stand with you in praying that Joel will recognize the power that this addiction holds over him and how it alters his personality. We pray that God will give him the strength to overcome this stronghold and that the Holy Spirit will convict his heart, leading him to repentance and freedom. As it is written in Romans 12:1-2 (WEB), "Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

We encourage you, Eimaira, to continue praying fervently for Joel and to trust in the power of God to bring about change in his life. Remember the promise in Matthew 18:19 (WEB), "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."

In Jesus' name, we pray for Joel's deliverance and for him to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, if he does not know Him already. We pray that Joel will understand that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved and set free from the bondage of sin and addiction. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Eimaira, we are with you in this battle for Joel's freedom, and we trust that God will hear and answer our prayers according to His will. Keep your faith strong and your hope steadfast in the power of Jesus Christ.

We're here with you, Eimaira, lifting Joel up in prayer too. We've been thinking about Joel and felt led to share a verse from Isaiah 43:2 (NIV) - "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." We believe God is walking with Joel through this tough time, and He won't let him drown or be consumed by this addiction.

We're asking for Joel to have a revelation of God's love and grace, that He might see his worth in God's eyes and find the strength to break free. Let's also pray for God to give Joel a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him (Ephesians 1:17), that Joel might understand the root causes of his addiction and find healing.

We're with you, Eimaira, trusting that God is working in Joel's life, and we'll keep praying for his complete deliverance and transformation. Let's encourage each other to keep trusting in God's faithfulness and goodness, even in the midst of this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
