Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before You on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Niger who are facing persecution and threats from Islamic militants. We lift up the Christians living near the Burkina Faso border who have been forced to flee their homes. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over them, that You would surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from harm.
Father, we pray for strength and courage for the church in Niger. In the face of uncertainty and persecution, may they stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are with them. Strengthen their resolve to follow Jesus, even in the midst of threats and pressure to convert to Islam. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to be bold witnesses for Christ.
Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray that You would touch the hearts of those who are persecuting Your children, that they may come to know the love and truth of Jesus Christ. Soften their hearts and bring about a transformation in their lives.
We also lift up Open Doors, the charity for the persecuted church, and we thank You for their dedication and commitment to supporting our persecuted brothers and sisters. Bless their efforts, Lord, and provide them with the resources and wisdom they need to continue their important work.
In Your Word, Lord, You promise to be with us in times of trouble. We cling to Your promises and trust in Your unfailing love. May Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard the hearts and minds of our brothers and sisters in Niger. Give them hope and assurance that You are in control, even in the midst of difficult circumstances.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
