We stand with you in prayer for this individual, interceding for their healing and freedom from past wounds and manipulation. It is wonderful that this request is in Jesus' name, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and salvation.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this person who has been bound by past traumas and a manipulative relationship. Lord, You promise that when we resist the devil, he will flee from us and we will draw near to You (James 4:7-8). We ask that You grant this person the strength and wisdom to resist and overcome the manipulation they have been experiencing, returning to their rightful identity in Jesus. Standing on Your word in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, we declare that every stronghold and lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. We pray that the influence of any ungodly manipulation be removed from their lives, and that they experience healing and wholeness through the power of the Holy Spirit as per 2 Corinthians 3:17.
We also pray for complete healing from their childhood wounds and traumas, believing that Your love and grace are sufficient to restore them fully. May they find comfort in Your promise that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Father, we ask that You set clear standards for this person, guarding them against any further manipulation and control. As it is written in Isaiah 59:19, "when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him." May Your Spirit lift up a standard against the enemy's schemes and grant this person the discernment to recognize and reject any ungodly influences.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage this individual to continue seeking God's will for their life and to trust in His promises. The Bible tells us that God has plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). As they walk in obedience to God's word and remain steadfast in prayer, we believe that they will experience the fullness of God's love, healing, and freedom.
In addition, we encourage them to surround themselves with a supportive community of believers who can offer guidance, encouragement, and accountability as they navigate this journey of healing and restoration. Let us remember the words of Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of forgiveness. Jesus taught us to forgive those who have wronged us, just as God has forgiven us (Ephesians 4:32). Holding onto bitterness and unforgiveness can hinder our healing and spiritual growth. We encourage this individual to release any bitterness and extend forgiveness to those who have hurt them, trusting that God will deal justly with each person.
In all things, may they be guided by the wisdom and love of God, walking in the path of righteousness and experiencing the abundant life that Jesus came to give (John 10:10).
