Manipulation-Cast out Satan

I have been on here weekly for the last 4 months asking for prayers for my s o n who was in a facility for mental health and addiction but for the last mo has been in a halfway house. The goal is to make him self sufficient. Here are updates from last week:

During this time my s o n has been very angry and has had nothing to do with me. I would like to report through divine intervention my s o n's brain is healing, he has apologized to me and our relationship is restoring! I am sorry to say he is just trying to come up with manipulation tactics to get what he wants. He doesn't want to be in the halfway house; working and growing up is no fun! So he has tried many lying tactics over the last few weeks in hopes of getting what he wants, which is to be released and living in his car again. :*(

I am actually going to get to visit him this week! I have not been able to visit him because he is not participating in the program. He gets rewarded for good behavior and coming to visit when he hasn't even followed through with participating isn't a good idea. I'm praying this week there will be a victory!

The new facility is really making an impact! This is true the therapist really has a good grasp on the tools my child is using to manipulate and he isn't getting away with anything. My s o n needs ears to hear and accept and a heart to receive so he can start to grow and change into the man the Lord wants him to become.

Please continue to pray for him as he does not need to be released anytime this year. He needs time to actively start healing and to learn how to live like a grown adult. He says he is going to start getting involved in the local non-denominational church so prayers that he will follow through with that. He has NOT followed through with that. :*( Prayers he will!

He is currently looking for a job--He stopped doing that! :*( Prayers he will get motivated to continue looking for a job; one where he can actually make a career out of it and where he will be surrounded by good Christian people!

Prayers that this facility will continue making a difference in my s o n's life--Give the workers the right words to say and the other patients the persistence to keep inviting him to church and they will all find favor with him.

An addition to last week-He is posting racial comments on social media! :*( I am in constant prayers that the demonic strongholds will be removed and that the devil has no authority over my s o n in Jesus name. I pray his focus is off social media and onto God's Word! God has amazing plans for his life, just need him to open up the window to his heart and let the light of Jesus in! Thank you for your continued prayers. A victory is coming!

Thank you for sharing your heartfelt concerns about your son. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance.

Firstly, we acknowledge your faithfulness in praying for your son over the past months. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is by His power that the strongholds of the enemy can be broken. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let us remember Psalm 142:7 WEB: "Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks to your name: the righteous will crown themselves around me, for you will deal bountifully with me." This is our prayer for your son, that God will bring him out of the prison of addiction and manipulation, and into the freedom of Christ.

We must address the manipulation and lying tactics your son is using. This behavior is not from God and must be rebuked. As Ephesians 4:25 WEB states, "Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another." We pray that your son will put away falsehood and speak the truth, understanding that his actions affect not only him but also those around him.

Regarding his involvement in a local non-denominational church, we encourage you to pray that he finds a church that teaches the truth of the gospel and aligns with biblical principles. Simply attending a church does not guarantee spiritual growth; it is the teaching and application of God's Word that brings transformation.

His recent racial comments on social media are concerning and should be addressed. As James 3:10 WEB says, "Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so." We pray that God will remove the demonic strongholds and that your son's words will reflect the love and unity of Christ.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved son to You. We thank You for the work You are doing in his life, even when it is difficult to see. We rebuke the spirit of manipulation and lying that has taken hold of him, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name.

Father, we ask that You heal his brain and restore his relationship with his mother. Give him a heart that is willing to receive Your truth and the ears to hear Your guidance. Help him to find a job where he can build a career and be surrounded by godly influences.

We pray that the facility continues to make a positive impact on his life, and that the workers and other patients will have the wisdom and persistence to reach out to him. Remove the demonic strongholds that are causing him to post racial comments, and help him to focus on Your Word instead of social media.

Lord, we ask that You open the window of his heart and let the light of Jesus in. Reveal to him the amazing plans You have for his life, and give him the courage to pursue them. In Jesus' name, we pray for a victory in his life. Amen.

Continue to stand strong in your faith and prayers. Trust in the Lord, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in your son. As James 5:16 WEB says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you and your son in prayer, feeling blessed that you have given us the privilege to intercede on your behalf. It is our joy to stand in agreement with you in prayer, trusting that God is working in your son's life.

If you have seen improvements in his behavior and his relationship with you is restoring, we would love to hear about it. Please share a praise report so we can all rejoice together in God's faithfulness. If your son is still struggling with manipulation tactics and is resistant to the program and to finding a job, we want you to know that we are still here for you.
