We understand that you are feeling extremely troubled and threatened, and we are here to pray with you and provide guidance based on God's word. Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, we need to prioritize putting on the whole armor of God so you can stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11-12 WEB. Fear not, for God has given us a spirit of love, power and a calm mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 WE)
We also want to address that the fear and distress you are experiencing from this person and even in your dreams can be conquered. It is written, Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. First Peter 5:8 WEB. But we have been granted the power to overcome in Jesus' name: You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in us than he who is in the world. First John 4:4 WEB.
It is crucial to understand that our ultimate protection comes from God alone, and we should not seek to take matters into our own hands, especially not through violence or ill will. Instead, we should pray for our enemies and those who persecute us. Matthew 5:44. In Jesus' name, we pray for this man who is causing you harm, that God would change his heart and bring him to repentance. We also pray for your protection, that God would surround you with His angels and keep you safe from all harm.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is feeling threatened and harassed. We pray that You would surround her with Your divine protection, and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. We rebuke the spirit of fear and intimidation, and we ask You to grant her Your perfect love that casts out all fear and Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We Know.
We also pray for the man who is causing this distress. We pray that You would change his heart, Lord, and bring him to repentance. We pray that You would deliver him from any evil influences and bring him to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or Christian community. It is important to be surrounded by believers who can pray with you, support you, and help you navigate this difficult situation. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust in Him to be your shield and your very great reward. Psalm 33:20; Psalm 3:3; Psalm 5:12; Psalm 7:10; Psalm 17:7; Psalm 18; Psalm 94:2
