Dear Slyshall,
We come together in prayer with you, Felicia, for your upcoming mammogram and doctor's visit. We believe in the power of prayer and the goodness of God, who hears and answers our prayers.
Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8 (WEB), "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." It is wonderful that you are coming to God in prayer with your concerns.
However, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us pray for you:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Felicia. Lord, we ask that You be with her during her mammogram and doctor's visit. We pray that the results will be clear, with no sign of any disease. We ask for Your healing touch on Felicia's body, and we trust in Your promise that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord, we also pray for Felicia's doctors. Guide their hands and give them wisdom and discernment. Let this visit be a blessing and a testimony of Your goodness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Felicia, we encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that He is faithful and that His will is good, acceptable, and perfect (Romans 12:2). We pray that you will have peace and comfort during this time, knowing that God is in control.
