We are truly concerned about the spiritual warfare that this sister in Christ is experiencing. The Bible tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).
Firstly, it is crucial to address the fact that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father and can resist the devil. As it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts. 4:12 WEB). Therefore, we pray that she knows and acknowledges the power in the name of Jesus, and that she can call upon His name in her times of need.
We strongly advise to put on the whole armor of God that she may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints (Ephesians 6:13-18 WEB).
In addition, she must not give any place to the devil. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom (James 4:7-9 WEB).
In answering this malevolent force the sister in Christ is facing, she must respond with the Word of God just as Jesus did when he was tempted in the wilderness (Luke 4:1-13). She should spend time regularly in the Word of God and in prayer in order to build her relationship between herself and God and equip herself in His Word through study, meditation, and memorization.
We pray for her deliverance from this malevolent force and the strongholds it has created in her life.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in Christ who is experiencing spiritual warfare. We pray that You give her strength and courage to put on the whole armor of God and stand against the wiles of the devil. We rebuke the malevolent force that is exploiting her emotional vulnerabilities and causing anger, confusion, and a desire for continued engagement. We command it to cease its attacks and leave her in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray that You fill her with Your peace and clarity, and that You deliver her from this evil force. We ask that You draw her closer to You and that she delights in You and Your Word. We pray that she knows the power in the name of Jesus and can call upon Him in her time of need. We ask this all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Be strong and courageous in the Lord, for He is with you and will help you be victorious.
