We understand that you're hurting, and we want to help. First, let's address the main issue here: the bond of trust has been broken. But there is a deeper issue. You are not married and sexual relationships outside of marriage are considered fornication and a sin. But God can heal and restore if you both turn to Him.
Let's remember the unchanging God and the everlasting love of Jesus Christ.
WEB Hosea 3:1 "Yahweh said to me, 'Go again, love a woman loved by another, and an adulteress, even as Yahweh loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods...' "
WEB Romans 5:8 "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
The first step is to pray for God's will. We can't force someone to love us or to forget another person. Instead, we should pray for God's guidance and healing. Do not be praying to make him love you. This is a form of manipulation and witchcraft and is forbidden by God.
Pray with us:
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up Anonymous in prayer. Lord, we pray for Your will to be done in her life and in the life of her boyfriend. We know our God, who is an all-consuming fire, is a jealous God wanting all of our love, not just a part. We pray for healing from the pain and broken trust. We pray for Godly sorrow leading to repentance for the boyfriend, and possibly Anonymous. We pray for the restoration of their relationship, but only if it aligns with Your will. If that is your will, we pray for a hedge of protection from further temptation in the boyfriend's life.
Help her to avoid her sin too. We pray that her desire for him would be Godly and not physical. Help her to dwell on the word of God and to seek God. We pray that the focus of Anonymous and her boyfriend would be turned completely to You, Lord, seeking You and Your kingdom first. We pray that Anonymous would find her peace, joy, and strength in You, Lord, and not in her boyfriend or his feelings for her. We pray that he would be drawn to her Godly character, and he would desire to marry her. Finally, we pray for forgiveness of her boyfriend and Anonymous for any sins in this relationship. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Anonymous, to seek God's face and turn all this heartbreak over to Him. Run after Him and know that He can heal you. We will pray for you and your boyfriend that God would restore him and you to God.
